Early learning goal...
106a - Move with control and co-ordination.

Ideas for resources
Water, buckets and a variety of containers. Sponges and other objects to throw in water. Pistols, syringes, squeezy bottles, spray bottles, soap dispensers, hosepipes, chalk.

Activity
There are lots of ways in which children can improve their hand/eye co-ordination using these resources.
Throw objects at water targets (e.g. ball in a bowl of water, sponge in a bucket).
Aim water from a water pistol, squeezy bottle at a target (e.g. chalk wall target, ducks in water tray, skittles...)

Adults role
To show how to aim and encourage accuracy, increasing difficulty as children improve (e.g. smaller targets, greater distance).
To encourage children to evaluate their own performance and plan how to get better.
To ensure children remain on task!
